Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why use the PTFE Bike Lubricant instead of the Bike Lubricant?

The Bike Lubricant is a product fully capable of any type of ride or race. The PTFE Bike Lubricant has the same base but with Teflon. The Teflon-based lubricant is perfect for dry and dusty terrains. The Teflon layer protects the chain and provides resistance to higher temperatures and loads.

2. Does it have antioxidant properties?

Yes, it has antioxidant properties to protect the chain from oxidation due to environmental conditions.

3. How should I apply the product?

First, you should clean the transmission chain to remove any remaining lubricant. Then, shake the packaging vigorously (essential) and lubricate the chain (a thin line of lubricant is sufficient). Wipe off the excess with a cloth to prevent the lubricant from splashing onto the bicycle frame. Now you're ready to start your adventure.

4. Is it easy to clean the chain?

Yes, after any ride, we would be lying if we said the chain ends up completely clean. There will always be some dirt. When rinsing the chain with water, you'll find that the dirt comes off easily. Unless you're constantly lubricating the chain without cleaning it throughout the year. In that case, it will be much harder to clean the chain.
